    Cardiologist

Dr. George Gobrial is a board-certified cardiologist with particular expertise in cardiovascular imaging, including echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He combines current cardiovascular training with a thoughtful, methodical approach to diagnosis and treatment, caring for patients with both new cardiovascular concerns and established heart disease.

Patients often comment on Dr. Gobrial’s ability to listen carefully and explain medical issues in a clear, understandable way. He believes that patients should leave an appointment knowing what their condition means, what their testing has shown, and why a particular treatment plan is being recommended. His calm, attentive style and careful attention to detail help patients feel comfortable asking questions and participating in decisions about their care.

Dr. Gobrial completed his Internal Medicine residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport from 2014 to 2017 and subsequently completed his Cardiology fellowship at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio from 2017 to 2021.

He has developed particular expertise in interpreting cardiovascular imaging studies, using echocardiography and nuclear imaging to evaluate heart function, coronary disease, valve disorders, and other cardiovascular conditions. His strong foundation in cardiac imaging allows him to integrate diagnostic findings with the patient’s symptoms and overall clinical picture rather than relying on any single test in isolation.

Dr. Gobrial cares for patients with coronary artery disease, hypertension, cholesterol disorders, heart rhythm concerns, valvular heart disease, and other common cardiovascular conditions. He also evaluates symptoms such as chest discomfort, shortness of breath, palpitations, dizziness, and reduced exercise tolerance, with an emphasis on careful diagnosis, prevention, and evidence-based treatment.

Originally from Egypt, Dr. Gobrial brings to his practice a typical warmth and hospitality that patients often notice immediately. His friendly, gracious manner complements his analytical approach to medicine and helps him develop strong long-term rapport with patients and families.

Dr. Gobrial’s approach to cardiology is grounded in careful listening, clear communication, and thoughtful interpretation of the available evidence. His goal is not only to identify and treat cardiovascular disease, but also to help patients understand their health and feel confident in the decisions they make about their care.
