Patrick Mathias, MD
I am very grateful, that in the last 30 years, I have been part of the system that has reduced the mortality of a heart attack by 75%, heart failure by 50%, and has significantly increased the life expectancy of all Americans. I look forward to further wonderful scientific advancements in cardiology that will better the life of my patients. I am a little impatient that our medical community has not been strong enough advocates for the prevention of heart disease.
